Our Story
Justin and I met in 2005 right when I was graduating high school. My bff, Paige, and Justin's brother, Eric, were just beginning to date and tagged us along with them. Justin says that I was quite a chatterbox and a little annoying. I say he was quite arrogant. ;) We had all four met up at a rodeo soon after and I say that is where it began. We began talking and even dated for a little time before both realizing we would rather be friends since both of us had been in a serious relationship prior. Justin and I loved to flirt with each other and eventually we could not restrain ourselves from falling in love. We fell in love before we actually dated. I was so young and my parents were so skeptical. What parent wouldn't be on their 18 yr old daughter that just "fell in love" with what they could only think of as a stranger? Oh boy.... this is what I have to look forward to having a daughter of my own!! So Justin went off to Florida for work for a couple months and we spoke and actually wrote a few letters/cards to each other. When he came back, we quickly got engaged. This was on Dec. 28th. My parents, again, were not thrilled so we actually thought we were going to end up with a very small wedding. Of course, they came around and we planned a beautiful wedding for July 29, 2006. I was 18 and he was 22. We knew that the odds were against us but we didn't care, and still enjoy flirting with each other as much as we can!! We will be celebrating 6 years this July, 2012! I could not be happier with our decision to get married!
